Alisa has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management-is SHRM-CP certified, volunteers with Texas and Colorado Extension Services and worked as a city Horticulturist in Texas before moving back to Colorado. She has gardened in 6 states and prefers adapted and native perennials. Besides helping HR, she will be the first one you call to schedule an estimate. With over 8 years of landscape installation experience, she understands and enjoys answering customer’s questions to help them find solutions with Highlands Landscaping and Fencing.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I fill up my free time educating others about gardening, exploring new places on road trips, camping, organizing women’s activities to learn new skills and playing board games with my husband and five children.

What is your favorite thing to do in Denver?
I like taking walks and hikes with a friend or family member – finding beautiful vistas to enjoy in the mountains and along the Front Range.
What is your favorite landscape element and why?
Water feature – I love the calming, soothing sound of cascading water as I lie in a hammock under a shade tree reading a book.
