Cap Lights

Cap lights (or hardscape lighting) are discreet, downward-facing fixtures integrated into the underside of wall caps, pillar tops, or stair treads to provide subtle illumination for hardscaped features. These lights are typically installed beneath the overhanging ledge of a structure, allowing the fixture to remain hidden while casting a soft glow that accentuates the texture of stone or masonry below. Beyond their decorative impact, cap lights improve safety by clearly defining the edges of elevation changes and retaining walls without the harshness of direct glare. Effectively, they act as an "invisible" lighting source that enhances architectural detail while providing essential perimeter visibility for outdoor living spaces.

Make your backyard bloom with custom landscaping and natural designs

We are extremely happy with phase 1 of 2 of our landscaping project done Highlands Landscaping. Phase 2, the planting project, will be in May. From start to finish this project went very well. The Landscape Designer and Estimator, John, was very clear and communicative and listened to what we we wanted. Our Project Manager, Nikola, was a pleasure to work with and you could tell he really cared about doing a good job. The installation crew was very polite and professional. And last but not least, Alisa, the Client Relations Manager was warm and welcoming. Great company to work with that communicates extremely well.
